I'm Kara from EquiLibre.
My whole life, I have been a passionate horse trainer.
I'm a certified life coach and horse riding teacher with years of experience in teaching young and old, strolling trough nature and training horses.
Life has let me trough Germany, Ecuador, Holland, South Africa and Spain. As a result, I'm fluent in English, Spanish, German and Dutch.
Other than through countries, my path has also let me through traditional horse riding, hunting, natural horsemanship and clicker training, leading me towards an intrinzen - inspired training method that considers both you and the horse.
I'm an advocate! My mission is to bring this message of 'different' horse training and being with horses into the world.
I did trails rides with my grandmother when I was 12 years old. I did rallies for orientation & skills with my friends when I was 13.
I trained my own horse by letting him run free during rides, so he would train himself without me getting in the way. This was my idea of natural training when I was 15 years old and it worked perfectly. At the end of that vacation, he had muscles to canter with me on his back.
During my stay in South Africa, I accompanied rides to the beach. My horse didn't have a fitting saddle, so I rode without. Surely not the best solution, but better than an ill fitting saddle.
Throughout all my life, I loved to ride. It's my biggest passion, my grounding, it's what I was born to do!
But not at all costs. I'm looking for connection with my horses. For true communication. I want to get to know my horse as a character. What does he like, what is he good at, what motivates him, how can we both enjoy together.
Every horse I met in my life, has brought me to the point where I am now. But at the same time I know, that I will get to know many more amazing horse spirits, learning of and with them and follow my path into the unknown.
Only one thing is sure: in every contact I'm searching to be passionate, listening and creative to make it a truly happy moment for both of us.
